My Business Philosophy
Buying or selling your home does not involve mystery or magic. I have found the best results are always achieved by doing extensive and ongoing research and preparation and then following up with frequent and honest discussion of all the factors involved. The development and implementation of creative and innovative marketing and negotiation strategies is something I do very well. My real estate business success is directly linked to my dedication to being an excellent listener, a committed, patient and tireless resource for my clients, and a "do whatever it takes" attitude. My promise to you is integrity, hard work, attention to detail and a few lighthearted moments too.
The Real Estate Board Charitable Foundation
Early in 2005 I was very happy to be elected to the Board of Governors of the Calgary Real Estate Board Charitable Foundation and for 2008 I am proud to represent the Realtors of Calgary as the President of the Foundation. In the past, the Foundation has provided funding to numerous organizations for small-scale capital cost improvement projects. The Foundation’s new focus is on a single building project, which will see the construction of an affordable housing project with 60 safe and affordable rental units for Calgarians who need them.
The Charitable Foundation has committed $1.5 million to the project and is the only privately funded partner to be involved. On January 18th, 2008 The Crestwood Heart to Home building was officially opened. In Mid March 60 Calgary families will move into their new home.
The City of Calgary is contributing the 1.9 acre site for the project, located at the presently vacant lot at 2420 Crestwood Road S.E. In addition, the Government of Canada and the Government of the Province of Alberta are each contributing $3.2 million to the project.

In My Spare Time
Although its not unusual to find me at work at 7 a.m. one day and midnight the next, I have many other interests too. I've been married for over 30 years, we have two wonderful children and one very special (not too spoiled) grand daughter. In my leisure time I'm a trumpet and flugel horn player in a 17 piece big band as well as a jazz quintet. I enjoy cooking, hiking and the outdoors, and occasionally getting a little greasy working on my '72 MG Midget.
